Responsibilities include the management and execution of deliverables, products, services, and organizational initiatives. They must have knowledge of our business and industry. The senior member of the Project Management team is a coach and mentor to team members within projects, programs and the department.

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in project/program management
• Experience in management role
• Ability to align short-term goals with long-term objectives
• Can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty
• Proven ability to effectively manage conflict
• Proven success in building and leading high-performance teams
• Adept in Agile methodology

 Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develops and manages the plan surrounding project/program engagements. Managing may include but is not limited to interdependencies, dependencies, communications, scope, changes, risks, issues, customer relationships, financial and human resources.
• Develops and promulgates adherence to shared methodologies, standards, and procedures.
• Measures project/program performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Builds excitement and a shared purpose across teams to achieve organizational objectives.
• Finds common ground and gets cooperation across teams/departments with minimum noise.
• Keeps stakeholders informed of major initiatives.
• Anticipates roadblocks and plans approach accordingly.
• Keeps abreast of industry changes in order to recommend and evaluate new solutions/services.
• Coaches team members and promotes continuous learning – for self and team.
• Oversees departmental finances, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Interfaces with Business Units and outside providers, if any.
• Owns the performance management process for Program Managers and Business Analysts.
• May be assigned other tasks or projects as may be deemed necessary.
