The competitive net salary we can offer is start from ₱16,000 to a maximum of ₱38,000, depending on the capability of the candidate and can be discussed with the HRD of our company.

About the role

As a DRG Validation analyst, your primary role will be auditing inpatient cases to validate DRG and/or documentation improvement. This consists of reviewing accounts in proprietary software and client EMR systems.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 4+ years of work experience in IP DRG Medical Coding
Bachelor’s degree in any medical allied course
Successful completion of inpatient certification program from AHIMA (CCS) or AAPC (CIC)
Experience in any EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner & Meditech
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and willing to adapt and change as per business/process requirements.
Should be flexible to adapt to shift timings on a need basis.
A strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and be service-oriented.

Responsibilities

Review inpatient medical records for validation of DRG assignment.
Provide detailed rationale and supporting evidence for recommendations and findings.
Utilize industry-recognized references to support their review findings, such as the ICD-10 Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding, AHIMA Practice Briefs related to compliant querying, and AHA Coding Clinics
Knowledge of 3M coding, Optum, computer assisted coding (CAC), abstracting software, Meditech etc. will be added advantage.
