PLATINUM GROUP METALS CORPORATION has open a job vacancy for the domicile of Central Visayas, National Capital Reg & Calabarzon & Mimaropa and surrounding areas as environmental management system (ems) officer with full time work system which will then be placed in our company office.
The candidates we need are those who have the minimum criteria of Bachelor's/College Degree and experienced and have the integrity to work in the field of Engineering & Environmental.

As a professional company, we offer a competitive monthly base salary ₱16,000 - ₱38,000 which can be adjusted by the decision of our HRD company and adjusts to the capabilities of the candidate offers for our company.

Job Purpose:
Works under the supervision of the Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Officer (MEPEO). Help in ensuring the EMS requirements of the company are met in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 Standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitors and reports performances of the company’s EMS and communicate to the employees the implementation and performance of the organization’s EMS.
2. Assists the Environmental Management Representative (EMR) in monitoring and ensuring that EMS objectives, targets, programs are met and action plans are effective.
3. Assists in the compliance of the company to the requirements of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
4. Help in identifying new issues and interested parties related to EMS, environmental aspects and impacts, risks and opportunities.
5. Ensure resources are allocated in order to effectively implement environmental management system policies and procedures.
6. Assists in evaluating and supervising the corrective actions taken and the management of identifies environmental aspects and impacts and other environmental related issues.
7. Conduct promotion and awareness of EMS throughout the organization including suppliers and contractors.
8. Reporting to the EMR on the performance of the company’s Environmental Management System and ensure that EMS documented information requirements is maintained.
9. Assists the EMR in the creation, revision and updating of EMS documents and records.
10. Coordinate with all Departments/Divisions/Sections in establishing environmental processes and procedures as instructed by EMR.
11. Maintain, control and keep EMS documentation and help the auditors during the internal and third party audit.
Qualification Requirements
Minimum Educational Requirements
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Environment or equivalent
Minimum Experience Requirements
- At least two (2) years of work experience in environmental related industry
- Must be familiar in ISO 14001:2015 Standards.
- Must be wiling to work in Brooke’s Point, Palawan (free accommodation, meals and transportation)
