We are offering a salary of ₱60,000 - ₱80,000 for this position for interested candidates. However, this salary range can be negotiated and changed if the candidate's credibility exceeds our expectations and for sure, the agreement is adjusted to the policies of our company's HRD. They are looking for a Tax Accountant who will be responsible for undertaking all production of taxation requirements, tax compliance as well as preparation and completion of Australian Tax Returns.
Job Description:
- Organize and update financial records as needed (digital) for tax purposes.
- Deliver operating efficiencies through, XERO, MYOB, and other accounting & business software systems.
- Responsible for tracking and following up mainly to do IAS & BAS, Corporate Tax Return with the ability for email follow-ups when necessary.
- Knowledge and experience in Australian tax compliance and Corporate Tax Return.
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) & client payroll tax reports.
- Ability to prepare Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships.
- General tax administrative procedures and other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations.
- Ability to perform timely administration assistance when necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any relevant field. CPA Preferred.
- At least 3+ years of solid experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role in Australian Tax accounting industry.
- High competence in preparing and finalizing companies, trust & partnerships, and individual tax returns
- Outstanding working knowledge on GST, BAS, IAS & other compliance related functions.
- Excellent knowledge on MS Office and in various and accounting software – extensive.
- Knowledge in XERO, MYOB, and other accounting & business software systems.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and accounting administration skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Process driven and has a strong desire to grow in their career and are committed to continuous professional development
- Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills.
