WHAT IS SENIOR REPORTING & DATA ANALYST ?

Our awesome client, a leading Racing Company based in Australia is looking for a Senior Reporting & Data Analyst to be part of their Team.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

Primary responsibility for designing, building and publishing management reports across fix2U’s multi-faceted business. The scope of the reporting requirements will principally cover operational aspects of the business, rather than financial.

  • Working directly with the CEO and CFO, undertake scheduled and ad-hoc pricing review exercises (primarily part and repair pricing) across fix2U’s various business lines, including but not limited to fix2U’s retail, corporate and partner businesses. 
  • Ensure that all pricing is refreshed at the agreed frequency and is completed with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness, maintaining fix2U’s market competitiveness whilst meeting agreed profitability criteria.
  • Own and maintain a variety of internal databases that store core data required by the business – e.g. spare parts, repair types, pricing, service types etc.
  • Working with fix2U’s IT team, implement systems and processes via ad-hoc projects that will improve the quality and efficiency of various internal processes that rely on core data

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 5 yrs+ experience in similar or related roles.
  • Proven ability to work with business stakeholders to design and deliver management reporting within a complex environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness.
  • Extensive Excel and/or Google sheet skills, including data management, features such as external data connections, pivot tables etc.
  • Experience using modern BI /reporting tools to design and publish management reports.
  • Experience working with relational databases to extract data using a visual query builder or SQL.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI to analyse data and create custom measures using DAX.
  • Experience using Microsoft Access to view data and run queries against multiple datasets.
  • A team player with a solution-focused and positive mindset, and a commitment to fix2U’s values of ingenuity, integrity, care for others, and fun.
