We are hiring for the position of US Senior Accountant (Night Shift/WFH) with full time working hours for our company office, KMC MAG Solutions, Inc., for residents of National Capital Reg and its neighboring areas.

Candidates with expertise in Accounting/Finance & General/Cost Accounting and at least a Not Specified or higher are highly needed. The candidates criteria we are looking for must be trustworthy and disciplined, because our business values a professional and competitive work environment.

Our company provides a competitive salary range of ₱16,000 - ₱38,000, which can be adjusted at the discretion of HRD in our company. This range naturally varies depending on how proficient the candidate credibility can be offered.

●    Position Summary:

Jellysmack, a global creator company specializing in identifying and nurturing top video creators on social media, seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be vital in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing COGs and revenue, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. We are looking for a talented professional who thrives in a collaborative and agile team environment, excels at multitasking, and enjoys working closely with other teams.

●    Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the cost of goods sold (COGs) and revenue recognition processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Oversee balance sheet accounts, including prepaid, assets and accruals, conducting regular reconciliations and analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis, provide insights, and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Document accounting processes and contribute to implementing new procedures to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Thrive in a smaller team environment, taking on diverse accounting responsibilities and adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Foster effective collaboration with other teams, such as operations and sales, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and alignment of goals.

●    Position Selection Criteria:

○    Personal Compentencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and address accounting issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Willing to work from and home and on US/night shift

○    Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is a preferred
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with COGs, revenue recognition, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Ability to document processes and contribute to process improvements.
