Required Qualifications 

· Bachelor’s degree is preferred with relevant practical experience

 ·        Prior work experience as a Quality Documentation Specialist. Specialized knowledge of medical terminology

·        Excellent English professional writing skills; including advanced proficiency in grammar and spelling. 

·        Excellent listening skills and ability to understand diverse accents and dialects of physicians, their staff, and patients. 

·        Ability to work independently in a secure and private location with a reliable high-speed internet connection. 

·        Ability to utilize technology in day-to-day work; e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook. 

·        Proficiency within Electronic Health Records; EPIC, Athena, Cerner, etc. 

·        Ability to quickly learn and adapt to different providers’ processing requirements

·      Minimum of 2 years Medical Transcription/Scribing/Coding/Abstracting XP.

·      Good Written Communication and Active Listening Skills

Preferred Qualifications 

·        Experience or training in multiple medical specialties. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

·        Provide production assistance for rapid sequence provider onboardings. 

·        Provide specialized guidance by reviewing their documentation output to ensure provider instructions are met. 

·        Documentation may include multiple specialties as directed by business need. 

·        Recognizes, interprets, and evaluates inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies in documentation. 

·        Ensure provider preferences are captured accurately in provider instructions. 

·        Edit or review documents consistently and fairly according to guidelines, standards of compliance and formats of practice. 

·        Uses reference materials appropriately and efficiently to facilitate the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of reports. 

·        Verifies patient information for accuracy and completeness. 

·        Demonstrates an understanding of the medicolegal implications and responsibilities related to the documentation of patient records. 

·        Understands and complies with policies and procedures-related medicolegal matters, including confidentiality, release of information, medical records as legal evidence, etc. Act as Subject Matter Expert for the team, answering questions, and assisting with other tasks as required by the business.
