Role Description and Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering quality products in agreed timeframes
Required Skills and Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Competencies:
● Ability to work autonomously and balance time critical tasks.
● Strong problem-solving skills.
● Effective communication skills.
● Excellent analytical thinker.
● A high understanding of web security best practices.
● A high understanding of best practice to build robust scalable systems.
● 5+ years of combined experience in PHP, HTML, Javascript, MySQL
● Experience in Git & Docker
● Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS)
● Experience with Linux and general server configurations.
● Experience with frontend Javascript Frameworks (ie. Vue.js)
● Experience with creating API endpoints with integration to 3rd party API’s.
● Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or ExpressionEngine is a plus
● Experience with unit testing using PHPUnit
