Duties and Responsibilities:
· Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
· Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
· Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
· Help maintain code quality and organization
· Advocates Apple’s design principles, interface guidelines, patterns, and best practices
· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
· Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
· A knack for benchmarking and optimization
· Stays in touch with project stakeholders via main preferred channels, ie. Telegram, email and mobile;
· Demonstrates expertise and leadership in iOS development;
· Deliver assigned task based on requirement specifications
· Ensure quality of code
· Participation in all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Scrum, Review, Retrospective)
· Self-organizing and cross functional development
· Creation and execution of unit tests
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Xcode, Gitlab, Swift, Objective-C, Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager, Firebase
Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge proficient with Swift and Apple’s Xcode IDE (minimum experience of 4 years)
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
· Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
· Knowledge of the iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
· Proficient understanding continuous integration and code versioning tools, such as GitLab
· Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA
· Open to learn and develop front end development (using Javascript framework Vue JS) and Mulesoft ESB.
