Are you ready to join a dynamic and global team and support the establishment, execution and improvement of our operational risk processes? We are seeking to appoint a Business Operational Risk Executive to support our Technology Division.

Your role is to ensure Operational Risk is appropriately addressed and managed within the Technology Division in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management framework and facilitate the continual improvement of operational risk culture and awareness in Technology and more broadly for our Corporate Operations Group.

You will work collaboratively with the Technology team and risk management stakeholders to identify operational issues and control breakdowns and ensure action is taken. The role will require you to conduct training and perform regular risk reporting.

To be successful, you will have experience with operational risk management in a Technology environment. Ideally, you will have experience gained in-house or working with clients in a professional services environment.

You will have the ability to think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts and complex situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the capability to initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues are essential. You will be highly motivated and comfortable working within a dynamic, fast paced, enterprise agile environment.
