Position: Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities:

As a Human Resources Generalist at Eden Senior Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization’s smooth and effective functioning by providing comprehensive HR support to employees and management. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and HR policy compliance. Your expertise and professionalism will create a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations within our senior care facility.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote positive employee relations and foster a healthy work environment.
  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Monitor employee morale and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Provide support for employee recognition and engagement initiatives.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Liaise with benefits providers and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure compliance with regulations.

Performance Management:

  • Coordinate and support the performance appraisal process.
  • Assist managers with goal setting, performance improvement plans, and employee development.
  • Maintain accurate performance records and provide reports as necessary.
  • Support the implementation of performance management initiatives.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws and industry best practices.
  • Communicate HR policies and ensure employees’ understanding and compliance.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct audits to ensure HR processes and records are accurate and compliant.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in the healthcare or senior care industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
