We can give you a fairly competitive salary in the amount of ₱16,000 - ₱38,000 on average. It also can be modified based on the credibility and experience you can provide for our business in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

The Project Manager oversees all aspects of project delivery and ensures they are executed for the owner, safely, on time, on budget, conforming to all standards and guidelines through proper coordination between the client, the project management, the project team,  subcontractors and vendors involved. This includes design, construction, procurement, and closeout/turnover.

·        AT PLANNING STAGE:

·        Studies the contents of tender/contract documents, and conducts joint review and clarification with the business development and tendering teams during the transitioning to the project team of newly-awarded contract. 

 ·        Oversees the preparation and implementation of the Project Execution Plan in line with the intent of tender/contract documents. 

·        Manages the preparation and development of project budget. 

·        Reviews the project master plan/contract schedule, and identifies the critical path necessary in establishing priorities. 

·        Reviews work program and list of long-lead permanent materials in coordination with Planning Engineer and Sr. QA/QC Engineer. 

·        Ensures that HSE and QA/QC plans are prepared and approved, in liaison with the respective section heads. 

·        Identifies risks and opportunities associated with the project, early on.

·        AT ORGANIZING STAGE:

·        Reviews the indicative organization structure submitted during tendering, expands/edits/improves on it, in accordance with contractual requirements, internal processes and project budget.

·        Inititates, drives the selection, hiring and on-boarding of project team personnel, in coordination with HR by interviewing outsourced applicants.  

·        Coordinates with HR the fielding in of positions, with employees that are available for movement from other projects. 

·        Prepares the site mobilization plan including arrangement of temporary facilities based on selection from number of alternatives.  

·        Follows up the issuance of permits and licenses from statutory authorities and local government units (LGU) for the commencement of construction work.

·        AT LEADING STAGE:

·        Charts out the project objectives and plans and sets performance requirements.

 ·        Performs overall supervisory and administrative management functions through key staff members that are reporting to him directly. 

·        Supervises and ensures that site mobilization, manpower, material, machinery and facilities are being handled properly for the project.  

·        Coordinates with the team for the preparation and development of construction methodologies with all critical details considered, for dissemination to the key  personnel on the ground. 

·        Participates in daily technical matters discussion and resolution, and gives the needed technical support and input to the project engineering head. 

·        Directs, plans and ensures that operations are standardized and functioning in accordance with provisions of the contract. 

·        Directs, supervises, assists and delegates tasks in planning, organizing and accomplishing work schedules.  

·        Interfaces with the client and attends operations-related meetings. 

·        Approves day-to-day expenditures on materials and services purchases within the limits of authority. 

·        Reviews, coordinates with the cost control/QS section, and approves monthly payment certificates of the project prior to submission to the client. 

·        Endorses approved materials for proper logistics and on-time delivery. 

·        Chairs regular progress meetings with staff and subcontractors (internal and external parties) with regard to status update and in order to address project issues.   

·        Reports and informs day-to-day progress, addresses unresolved problems and recommends permanent solutions to recurring failures to the Project Director. 

·        Works very closely with staff members to ensure that objectives are met and safely achieved according to time, quality and cost. 

·        Assess claims of subcontractors and checks the progress of their works in relation to the program. 

·        Approves personnel movement, leaves and recommends termination of undesirable employees under his area of management. 

·        Actively ensures enforcement of HSE Plan. 

·        Resolves day-to-day difficulties and challenges.

•   Educates and ensures the strict implementation of HSE rules, regulations and  precautions so that no work accident could ever take place. 

·     Educates and ensures the strict implementation of Quality Control Plan and  

    Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).       

·      Actively monitors project cost and keeping it in check by employing the efficient  number of manpower, avoidance of wastage, and productive management of time by effective control over the site. 

·      Takes ownership and responsibility for the successful conclusion of the project by  managing the P&L (profit & loss) aspect towards profitability.

 ·      Maintains effective management of changes and chasing up approvals and payment of claims and variation orders by the client.

·     Ensures that proper document control and effective filing/archiving of records are maintained and updated.

·        Addresses unresolved problems and recommends permanent solutions to recurring failures Formulates and implements departmental procedures.

·        Implements compliance by employees, to the company policies on procedures, rules and ethics.

·        Obtains completion certificate at the end of the project.

Additional Requirements: (applicable education/ training and experience)

 Educational Background

o  Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

o  PRC License

·     Experience

At least twelve (12) years experience in project engineering process for large-scale projects, e.g. design and construction implementation and coordination, planning, technical and commercial evaluation, project periodic reports, survey and engineering reports, submittals and construction drawing (shop/fabrication, cutting schedule, etc.) preparation and evaluation, specific project drawings and specification development, controls, methodology, coordination and management of the preceding/succeeding tasks, etc. Fifteen (15) years minimum combined experience in engineering and construction works execution.
