SJK-Guahan is looking for an Accountant based in Metro Manila to manage financial transactions, analyze financial statements, and prepare financial reports for individuals, businesses, and organizations. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and other financial tools.

· Recording financial transactions: SJK requires our accountant to understand a specialized software (Zoho) to record financial transactions, such as sales, expenses, and payments. They will ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and categorized.
· Preparing financial statements: He or she will prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to summarize a company’s financial activity. These statements are used to monitor the financial health of a company.
· Analyzing financial data: He or she will analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast future financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement. They will use various financial analysis techniques, such as ratio analysis, to assess a company’s financial health.
· Providing tax advice: He or she will provide advice on tax issues and help clients comply with tax laws and regulations. They will prepare tax returns and provide advice on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability.
· Auditing financial records: He or she will perform audits to ensure that financial records are accurate and compliant with laws and regulations. He or she will examine financial statements, accounts, and records to identify any discrepancies and ensure that financial transactions are properly documented.
· Managing budgets: He or she will help companies and organizations manage their budgets by monitoring spending, identifying areas of overspending, and making recommendations for cost-cutting measures.
· Communicating with stakeholders: He or she will communicate financial information to stakeholders, such as investors, clients, and management. They may present financial reports and analysis in meetings and make recommendations based on their findings.
· Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is typically required. A master’s degree in accounting or business administration may be preferred.
· Certification: Professional certification, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA), may be required or preferred.
· Experience: Typically, two to five years of experience in accounting or a related field is required.
· Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software (Zoho), Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools is required. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, financial analysis techniques, and budget management is also necessary.
· Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important for success in this role. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also critical.
· Industry-specific knowledge: candidates with experience in their specific industry.
